DENIS SICOTTE January 8, 1949 - April 23, 2006 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father, Denis Sicotte on Sunday, April 23, 2006. Denis will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Tina (Norm) and their daughters, Jessica, Allison and Jocelyne; son, Paul (Tracy) and their son, Brenden; and son, Michel (Laura). He is also survived by his father, Victor; three brothers and three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Denise; his brother Yves; and his nephew Daniel. Denis was born on January 8, 1949 and raised on the family farm in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB; however, he chose to make his home and raise his children in St. Malo. Dad was hardworking, proud, and respected and loved by all who knew him. Family members and friends could always depend on Dad's help. He was an active member of the community and served on numerous committees. He enjoyed the simple things in life and found pleasure in the company of friends and family members. He enjoyed sports and being outdoors. His greatest joy was being with his children and grandchildren. We were always aware of Dad's pride and love for us. He was a good man with a warm heart. Funeral Mass will be concelebrated by Fathers Marcel Chaput and Roger Sicotte at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church in St. Malo, MB on Thursday, April 27 at 10:30 a.m. Prayer service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the St. Malo Parish Cemetery following the mass.
